How you can become a member

‘Members’ are persons who have expressed interest in belonging to RedR Southern Africa and have been invited by the Board to accept such membership. Members would have the following duties:

Elect the Board
Monitor Governance
Volunteer Help on a Occasional Basis
Moral support
Spread the Word

In addition ‘working’ members would be expected to contribute on a paid basis, by undertaking, when required:

Administrative work
Prepare and/or deliver Training
Carry out investigations and research

How you can become a volunteer:

‘Operatives’ are those persons who are prepared to, and have been trained by RedR, to be deployed in disaster areas to provide technical aid in accordance with their skills. Potential Operatives can log onto the RedR SA web site and fill in the register, giving all the details asked for. Their registration will be acknowledged by RedR SA and whenever a request comes from, RedR, an NGO or Government source their details will be forwarded to that source for consideration.
Before going into the field the Operative would normally be trained by RedR SA.
